In the same year that Teatro Viriato celebrates its 25th anniversary, theatre company Formiga Atómica commemorates a decade of existence. A decade filled with stage shows preceded by a long research period that heavily informed their creation. A decade of partnership with Teatro Viriato, truly one of Formiga Atómica’s closest accomplices, whether through the support given during the creation process, the development of special projects, or simply by artistically challenging the company. Given this deep connection, over the course of two weeks, Teatro Viriato will be occupied by Formiga Atómica, who are bringing five shows, to the city of Viseu, that promise to make audiences think about climate change, the refugee crisis, adolescence, death and the future in general.
