Two gymnasts are up on stage, jumping from equipment to equipment, performing routines and bearing in mind the scoring system specified in the FIG Code of Points, until they get distracted. These thoughts, diverging from their competitive regimen, are the focus of this play, unbalancing them on the crossbar but connecting them to the world. This work was inspired by an episode in the childhood of Lígia Soares, that stopped her from being a gymnast. With this creation, she wants to illustrate the necessity for distraction, dispersal, decentering, and show the fact that it is impossible for these girls to be insensitive to others and to what is happening around them, even when that's what they are pressured to do, to become high performing athletes.
