SYNOPSISDrummer Gabriel Ferrandi presents his album "Hair of the Dog" in Viseu. Born from the recording of "Tudo Bumbo", in Teatro Maria Matos in 2017, the project has been in the works since then with Miguel Abras as co-producer, and Pedro Tavares contributing with an electrifying electronica.
The disc is split into solo work and collaborations, just like this presentation. A good spirit of community and sharing, right when we need it most. He draws from his perfected, ingrained command of jazz a certain intuition and intrinsic energy, to go beyond his genre and create a kind of false modern composition', in the best possible sense of the term: he takes the composition in real time from the live recording to rewrite it in meticulous studio work.
