This year, "Noite Fora" reaches session number twenty, and, for that special reason, we want to celebrate our journey to this point. We want to celebrate the artists, texts, moments and conversations this project allowed us to experience, but we also want to hint at what might be coming in the future. In this edition, we broaden our horizons and add the study and discussion of Dramaturgy and the creation of Original Dramaturgy to all our other ingredients: staged readings, meetings with artistic minds and the ensuing conversation with the audience.
It will be a "Noite Fora" in two parts: we start with a "Noite Fora" within walls, on-stage at Teatro Viriato, where we will have an open conversation about Dramaturgy with Cláudia Lucas Chéu (who also participated in the 2023 edition). On the next day, at the Mata do Fontelo, audiences can enjoy "1 Tarde na Floresta" a staged reading of an original text developed specifically for this event by local artists, authored and directed by Rui Catalão; its central theme: "Dramaturgy and Freedom of Choice".
