The privileged partnership that Teatro Viriato maintains with Dançando com a Diferença and its artistic director Henrique Amoedo, as a Resident Artist, has been intense and has been reaching a bigger complexity and scope both at the level of qualification, and artistic creation. From occasional workshops to the creation of Dançando com a Diferença/Viseu - that encompassed the partnership with several institutions from the city -, the inclusive dance has been assuming a growing relevance in the activity/intervention of Teatro Viriato.
It is this course that, in 2019, starts off a new and more structured project of artistic education for inclusive dance, in the form of a workshop, directed to qualify teachers and professionals interested in artistic studies and inclusion, but also to the continuous and prolonged development of the nucleus Dançando com a Diferença/Viseu, a resident collective at Teatro Viriato. A workshops programme that features the orientation of professionals with different intervention approaches, that have in common the purpose of improvement of the capabilities of those who they work with, that begin this new tutoring phase.
